A little about me and my natural, documentary style of photography/videography

I've been a portrait and wedding photographer since 2006, professionally photographing in excess of 160 unique weddings, events and portraits, for couples and families, every year since.

My photographic style during an event is best known as reportage wedding photography,  documentary wedding photography or wedding photojournalism.

These are buzz words that mostly wedding photographers in the profession use to describe the same photographic approach to capturing an event in a relaxed, unobtrusive style and without the need for multiple, often tedious family group wedding photos and awkward poses.

My approach to creating wedding photography is unique - I don't place importance on photographic fads and recognise the value in timeless and natural pictures that tell an authentic wedding story. From the creation of the photographs through to the editing and processing applied to images during post-production.

My wedding photo experience ranges from small, low key and intimate weddings to grand and often traditional affairs, including multi-day Indian, Chinese and Jewish celebrations.

I’m commissioned as a portrait and wedding photographer right across England, the UK and on destination in Europe.

My videography style is best known as documentary. Some of my videos are typically shot for my Youtube channel and have until recently, been made as instructional videos for future photographers. However, I have come to notice that I have a good eye for the video side of weddings also. You can see an example HERE.​
